Inspiration

This animation is inspired by the project produced in the intensive workshop. During the workshop, my intention is the same as the current one, but I used different monster images to portray the story. I think the idea is good, and every single story is very interesting. However, it uses different kind of monster which make them seem unrelated. Even using the transition, they are still rather stilted and not fit with each other,   which make the audience feel confused. After getting the feedback from different people, I decided to use a particular kind of monster as my main character, so that even if the animation composed of small stories, the narrative is consecutive and logical. In the final animatic, I picked some ideas from the previous project. Although most of them can’t be used, they also laid a solid foundation for my new project.
