ABOUT THE PROJECT
Overview
What I did this semester is a 2D animation about the monsters which unnoticed by human. During the animation, they will live along with us but try their best not to be found. I examined different ideas and connect then together.
Treatment
My work is about the monster which unnoticed by human. Humans have live on Earth for millions of years, but we are the only known high intelligentbeings. What if there is an intelligent species just hide in our society and live with us? My animation is happened under this premise.
Back up plan
I have 9 scenarios in the animation which almost 3 minutes, however, it is impossible to finish a 3 minutes animation within 12 weeks. For the animatic, my plan A is drawing as much as I can and finish the production part before week 9 then start colouring and post-production. My plan B is at least finish 6 scenarios, therefore, I pick 3 stories which won’t affect integrity to ensure my outcome is a continuously and complete animation.
I also have 2 back up plans for sound. Plan A is the collaboration with digital media students. Plan B is asking my sound designer in China. Plan C is to find some sound effects by myself.
